DESCRIPTION

   Yangon Adventist Seminary is a Christian institution owned and operated by Seventh-day Adventist Church since 1975.  It is opened to young people who want to study in Christian atmosphere.  Non- Christian student who can make the agreement to follow the rules and regulations of the school may be accepted.

   YAS is accredited by the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges, and Universities (AAA), Maryland, USA.

Physical:

1. To develop habits of exercise and sport-spirit which promote physical fitness and good health.
2. To help students to understand the dignity of labor.

Mental:

1. To develop the inquiring mind and the desires for learning.
2. To help students to think creatively and aim for excellence in their studies.

Spiritual:

1. To help students to understand and apply biblical principles in their daily life.
2. To prepare students to become good citizens and future church leaders.

Social:

1. To help students socially well behave.
2. To help students respect and accept others as friends regardless of race and social background.
